I'm slowly trying to wean myself off of using my iPod classic now we live in an age of Phones with more than 128GB memory and Bluetooth earbuds. I've always liked the way iTunes manages my music library and none of the Android music players I've tried really did the job as well. However, iSyncr has solved that problem for me. seeing my iTunes playlists replicated onto my phone was great, but the cherry on the cake was the way I was able to sync the information back into iTunes over Wifi after I'd been playing my songs in Rocket Player. Once you've copied over your songs, syncing to iTunes over Wifi with this app is actually quicker than doing it to my iPod with a cable. I have a lot of playlists that are driven by things like Play Count and Last Played Date, the way that iSyncr can update that information while I play songs on my Samsung phone is a big bonus!
Worked when DoubleTwist did not. Note: this review is for the paid version- I paid for the upgrade immediately after installing, so I never launched the free version. I have dozens of playlists, with several thousand songs in many of them, and a library of 46,000+ songs. I struggled with doubletwist for years. It would only sync a few songs in each database, would transfer multiple copies of songs on successive updates, and would delete playlists randomly. I installed iSyncr, queued up 8,000 songs in about 20 playlists, and it worked flawlessly. I used both USB and WiFi, and have synced both my phone and my car's head unit. No issues, and I've verified that updates to the playlists are found and transferred. No complaints at all- it just works. Samsung S7 and Atoto head unit.
best 6 dollars i ever spent!! i have nearly 40,000 songs on my itunes and i have been searching for around 2 years for a program that will just sync my dang itunes to my phone. i have tried various free programs e.g. doubletwist and media monkey among others. they all would either take anywhere from 15-25 minutes to sync, or would require me to make a new music library on their program, or would occasionally corrupt and require me to spend hours creating ANOTHER new library on their program, etc etc. iSyncr is practically plug and play - and all new songs additions to my device can be done via wifi in about 3 minutes. BEST PROGRAM
I paid $10 for this app because I switched to Android and wanted to keep using iTunes, have it sync to my phone, and have data such as play counts continue being tracked. iSyncr is great. It syncs my music quickly, syncs playcounts, perfect. I had an issue on my recently replaced LG V30 (Android 9) where playlists wouldn't get updated when synced. I haven't had this issue on my new phone running Android 11. Either way, it's a great app. That's been my only notable issue in almost 2 years of use.
Used it for years. I have playlists based on song ratings. Isyncr copies these over perfectly and play them with Rocket Player, also from JRT studios, which allows me to change song ratings. When I sync again ratings go back to iTunes, playlists update as expected and the songs appear in the correct playlist on my phone. The few times I've had a problem the support has been excellent and they get back to me quickly, pretty amazing when they have over a 1M downloads and there's only 2 of them.
Tried all different ways and supposed solutions to get my music from ITunes to Android, and frankly, they are mostly rubbish (including now defunct Google Play Music) Then I found iSyncr and Rocket Player. Easy, straightforward AND it does what it says on the tin. Albums, artwork, tracks, video, unlimited playlists, WiFi or USB sync - brilliant. It worked first time, no hassle. And their support is BRILLIANT, very willing to help and very responsive. Thanks Caroline!! Highly recommended!
