iSyncr FAQ Basic

iSyncr lets you sync iTunes songs, albums, artists as well as videos from a PC or Mac with your Android device. iSyncr is two programs in one. A paid app for your Android device and a free app for your computer. This will give you a picture of how iSyncr works.

The difference between iSyncr applications listed in the Play Store are:
one is a trial app (1 playlist of 100 songs at a time) with a white theme
one is a trial app with a dark theme
one is paid app removing trial app limits
one is legacy app that still receives updates for old application purchases

Functionally, there is no difference. However, iSyncr for Mac is now a legacy or old version of the application. It is still available on the Play Store and Amazon Store. This way previous purchasers can continue to download the product they purchased and receive app updates.
New purchasers should download iSyncr for iTunes.

No, unfortunately, iSyncr needs a PC or Mac to run iSyncr Desktop which interfaces with iTunes. An iPad does not support iSyncr Desktop.

Yes, there are other programs that do this; but few that work as consistently, easily and quickly. Very few, if any apps offer the integration with iTunes like iSyncr.

To setup WiFi or USB it should take 20-25 minutes. To setup both WiFi & USB allow 25-30 minutes. If it takes you longer than that, please contact iSyncr support from our Contact us page.

However, all iTunes music (at least in the US) since April 7, 2009 will not have DRM, before that date only iTunes plus music will not have DRM. Also, we have successfully used iTunes Match to legally remove all Apple DRM from my library. Here is a video on that...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tc8IjguRJzE
